Mental Health First Aid

COMING SOON

Peacekeeper Initiative will be teaching Mental Health First beginning in June to our peer support personnel, as well as any First Responder and Veteran agencies, fraternal groups, and support groups.  We will also be able to teach other nonprofits.  Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges.  It is an internationally recognized certification.

First Responder Agencies

Peacekeeper Initiative can come in and certify your agency's peer support teams, or even your whole department, to help them better identify the signs of mental health and substance use disorder and understand what they can do as lay people to help.

Veterans Groups

Veteran groups often have those suffering in silence from service related traumas.  With a Mental Health First Aid certification, members can identify those that may need help and/or support.
